Your emotions can cause you to feel a whole range of feelings like loneness, helpless, and abandoned. These feelings stem from childhood traumas that were never healed and are still active in your cellular memory. They surface during times of change and uncertainty, more then ever. We are living through one of those times where the collective conscious is going through a mental crisis. Old patterns of victimhood can keep you feeling like you will never get out of the place your in. Have you ever heard the expression, “Why does this always happen to me?” Well, look at what you are saying to yourself. Always means that it will always happen!
You must change the pattern. Reframe, refocus, and redirect your thoughts to a better feeling thought.
Focus on your breath, and practice breathing techniques that will calm your mind and relax your body.
Move, dance, take a walk, garden, do anything to get in some physical activity to change the energy.
Stay in the moment. Practice focused disciple. Pets help tremendously to help keep you feeling good and staying present.
Let’s face it, we are all in control of our own life, whether you want to admit this or not. Taking responsibility to stay positive, feeling good and being your best for the world takes mental muscles and disciple.
Our emotions can take us for a wonderful joy ride or a horrible horror show. Or you can detach from either and be the observer of your thoughts, which will alter your feelings to create a knowing that all is well.
You can get to this place of knowing. Practice, practice, practice.
